POKOTABI / Tototoriton
渋谷っ子居酒屋 とととりとん
Located along Shibuya's Dogenzaka, Tototoriton serves grilled skewers, seared cured mackerel, and a wide variety of fruit chuhai and tea highballs until early morning.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Perched on the 3th floor of a commercial building on Shibuya's Dogenzaka slope, Tototoriton is an easygoing izakaya that brings together fish, chicken, and pork under one roof. Its lively, unpretentious dining room works just as well for spontaneous drop-ins over a single drink as it does for relaxed group gatherings.
The menu's breadth is immediately apparent. Charred skewers like negima and tsukune meatballs anchor the grill, while the seafood side features torched Kinkasan cured mackerel topped with sesame oil, Korean seaweed, and scallions, alongside rich amberjack in sesame sauce. With crunchy live whelk sashimi, horsemeat sashimi assortments, and sizzling spicy-miso pork skirt steak delivered on hot cast iron, diners can assemble a table of small plates suited to almost any craving.
Drinks are equally varied. Standard draft beer and highballs share space with fruit-packed chuhai, tea-based cocktails like Peach Jasmine, and fruity lassi concoctions. For longer sessions with friends, set courses pairing multiple courses with all-you-can-drink plans covering more than 50 beverages are also available.
Meals conclude on distinct notes, from crab-butter grilled rice balls and savory fish-bone soup to sweet finales such as vanilla ice cream drizzled with miso-tamari caramel. Open daily from 17:00 through 5:00 the following morning, it offers a dependable stop whether for early evening drinks or settling in late into the night.
